Wake Up Shake Up continues to thrive
A PHYSICAL activity programme that can be run by pupils is still going strong after being introduced in primary schools over six years ago.
The Wake Up Shake Up scheme aims to provide an easy way to introduce daily activity without impacting on teachers' or curriculum time.
A DVD teaches easy routines to pop music and can be used prior to lessons to get the kids energised and ready to learn.
Ruth Mitchell came up with the idea in 2002 while working as a school sport coordinator.
